Incredible Inputs
Exciting news for all 3 of my fans!
Lucid, the minimalist Metroidvania you can complete in under 5 minutes, now supports USB gamepads! Simply plug in a gamepad, press a button, and start playing. This implementation includes new button prompts that automatically swap between keyboard and PS4, thanks to the wonderful, "Free Controller and Key Prompts" asset pack by Xelu, developer of Indie gem "Move or Die!"
Additional changes:
1. The sonar ability has changed from a timed power with cooldown to a toggled power that you can turn on or off at any time.
2. The player character now enters a momentary "headache" state to convey when they are overlapping an invisible object and therefore can't enter sonar mode. This was always the way the game worked, but it was previously not communicated to the player, causing understandable frustration.
3. Room layouts have been tweaked slightly, making tricky jumps easier. Difficult jumps like these may be added back in later, but only after I have found a good way to convey a certain peculiarity of Lucid's jumping mechanics.
